Annemarie:
I was diagnosed chronic in my 15th year of clusters. Started on a beta blocker which worked for awhile. Then the dosage was increased and it worked for awhile longer.
After a few years the kip 9-10 were constant and my Neuro performed the Radiofrequency Trigeminal Rhizotomy on me. After that I was put on Verapamil and o2.
The point I want to make is about shadows. They are constant with me. Ever since the procedure done by the Neuro. Very few kip 10 in the years since, occasionally a 8-9,
but the shadows are constant. I didn't know what or how to explain them until I discovered this board. It feels like the headache wants to be there but can't break through
as you descibe. That's the same feeling I have. Whatever it is meds, RTR, age, at least I can handle this. My shadows range 3-5.
Regards,
Larry
