Upon my first visit, I tell him I think I have CH. He just writes scripts for Fioricet, Darvocet, Paxil(wtf), and Blocadren. Upon second visit he tells me "Sounds like you have classic symptoms of CH" like I didn't know. I told him to about verapamil and pred. He put me on Verelan PM, Medrol, and Tramadol. Now we are getting somewhere. I saw him last week, told him the pred worked but HAs came back after I finished the pack and Verelan PM did nothing. I tell him about O2 and Lithium and this was his response. "If you need O2 then go to the emergency room." and "I wont and don't know any doctor that would prescribe Lithium for this" then writes a script for Inderal, another worthless betablocker. WTF again.
This is the third doc I have been to and, after 20+ meds, will be the last for awhile. To me they are WORTHLESS. This brings me to what I would like to do to him... Visit his office once, sometimes two or three, times a day. Put his head is a vice, stab his left eye with needles for 45mins at a time and tell him to take a betablocker to see if it helps!!!
Which is worse. Dealing with these HAs or ignorant and incompetent doctors?
