I just got off the phone with the Narcotic Division of the Collier County Sherrifs Office and it is only in the processing of the mushroom to ingest them in any form that the legal inigma comes into play. My own son was busted for this offence and found guilty so I have some first hand knowledge.
I've got my own reasons for being so rigid in my position, I believe in "Drug Free" No matter what, that's a personal stand and I have done them all, I was a heroin addict, smoked more gunja than you could ever imagine and did mushrooms in the late 60's, someone slipped me a psylibin cap and it was horrific! It was well before the clusters started, but you couldn't hold me at gun point and make me take that again, a good friend died after ingesting shrooms so that plays into it also.
It my own opinion and I will not relent. Do as many as you like medically or recreationally, here it is illeagle and nothing you can say will change my attitude. I would rather continue suffering daily as I do and have for over 30 years than allow my mind to rely on any substance ever again! Pappy
