The way she tells it, she had a friend in the same position. they crossed her legs to keep the baby in. It was born with a defect. The lady blamed it on the leg crossing.
When they tried to cross ma's legs, all she could think of was her friend, so she floored the nurse and I was born.
Like drummer, I never asked to be born. Unlike drummer, I wasn't born with a deformed head.
Now for some philosophizing. I think the leg crossing should be saved for the date 9 months earlier not the delivery room. I feel the same about abortion. I believe in a womans right to choose but once those legs are uncrossed, she's made her choice, not 3 months later.
