This is my first episode since January 1998. I think January 1998 was when I first discovered this board. It was also when I realised that the shrooms worked. I realised they worked because I hadn't taken any for 12 months, and bingo a cluster attack struck me down. Prior to that my last attack was April 1995.
I've learnt a lot coming here. All that I've been able to give in return has been info on the shrooms. This time I finally suceeded in underdosing. The result was this 7 day episode. 7 days in 34 months is a damn sight better than 1 month in 6!
I've taken full advantage of this episode to try out everything I've learned since I started coming to the board. I've also been stuck at home (scared to leave the house in case a headache comes), so I've had nothing else to do but post. This attack may even have saved my life, since I've discovered that I am infected with candida, thanks to a post by Margi. I was just sitting going theough the search engine (for O2) when I stumbled on it.
Now the episode is ending it's back to my normal posting routine.
One thing that this episode has highlighted, is that you could say that we have a huge advantage over the doctors, when it comes to treating CH. The irony is that's because we have CH. We know what it's like. Whereas the doctor has to ask the right question - we don't, the answers are exploding into our heads 6 times a day. I'm glad that I have CH, because it's an illness that the layman can actually do something about. If nothing else it's interesting. The only thing that could possibly improve it would be the ability to infect other people at will :)
