Hi, new member here, just found the page and am I relieved. Anyway, I have suffered for 20 years, since the age of 14, and I have had every treatment for migraine (waste of time, obviously!) plus anti-depressants, sedatives, sleeping tablets, homeopathic remedies, acupuncture, etc.. I was told by a neurologist that all the "imi" treatments, like Imigran injections, tablets, etc, all contain Sumitriptan, which will cause clusters if taken in too large a dose, by which he meant more than two doses per day, so when your getting five or six a day the treatment is a waste of time, unless you want to bring on an attack, he also explained that this is why you only get 2 injections or tablets per pack (in England) so all the "imi" treatments are useless for chronic sufferers. I have found the best way to treat them is three high dose soluble aspirin (Aspro Clear in England) plus the oxygen. It does not work immediately and only postpones the headache (tiny word for such a huge pain) until the next one. Hope you find some relief, I am more or less cluster free at the moment, but I know that in two months I will be hitting the oxygen again
Good luck
Linda
