Not quite a year ago, I was taking Topamax for seizure control. It was in combination with other stuff and it worked wonders. BUT, I too experienced some depression. I didn't know what was going on but it had to be the drug. It also caused some pesky ringing in my ears. My Dr. said this occurs in about 15% of those who try this medication. Too bad, as it worked rather well. I felt fine within a few days after quitting this drug. Perhaps some can handle it better than others.- - -Charlie
