My nuro thought topamax would be just the ticket for me. I have tried just about everything eles, some meds more than once and different combos too. I slowly went all the way to 400mls. Everytime he uped the dose my CH would double till it got to the point I was having one every one to two hours on a scale of anywhere frome 8 to above ten!! He kept thinking it was just the dose and I just needed to keep trying because so many have been helped by topamax. I finally had to say no more and when I tapered off my CH went away. It could have just been time for them to leave. But I think it made my cycle MUCH longer than it would have been and MUCH worse. Everyone has such different side effets from different meds that it's so hard to know what to do. I will try anything once sometimes twice, but not topamax. I am glad others have found relief with it. I hope I find a med that works for me next cluster time. Paula
