Help I'm new what am I doing wrong?

I asked how to go to a chatroom and someone told me to go to the links to the left, but nothing happens. I've clicked on everything! What am I doing wrong? Also, does anyone else have the problem with their eyelid drooping on the side that their clusters are on even when there is no headache-just a perminate thing now?
