I'm using myself as a guinea pig. I didn't feel like waiting 12 months before taking the Lamisil - just to put your mind at rest that my 'data' was valid. I took the Lamisil to treat a chronic candida infection. I'm sorry that the spit test doesn't involve things like titration, distilation, catalysts and lots of funny shaped aparatus. I'm sorry that it isn't performed in guys wearing radiation suits and respirators in a sterile environment. That doesn't change it's accuracy. My saliva is capable of fermenting pasturised, and sterilised fruit juice ---> it contains yeast.
Lamisil is a prescription drug, therefore it cannot be obtained without a doctor.
I also would like to point out that my body is NOT sensitive to candida. You need to read a bit more on the condition. After my 6 months of Lamisil and special diet (provided the symtoms have cleared up) then I will be free of this curse, unless I accidentally swallow tetracycline for 2 months! Not much chance of that.
Finally - I do think, that after 7-8 years I have enough experience of shrooms to predict the duration of the effect they have on my cycle. If I do not suffer an episode in 12 months time, and have not taken shrooms then the Lamisil has worked.
If you believe my experiences are wrongly clouding your judgement then don't read them:)
