Yes Jamie, there is at least one grizzled veteran out here. CH's started when I was around 25. Episodes about every 6 months and lasted from 4-6 weeks. In late 30's they tapered off to about 1 a year. I am now 60 and am currently in a cluster now, but it has been 2 1/2 years since my last one. I have noticed that severity of the headaches have lessened slightly, with only a few in the 10 category and most in the 6-8 area.
Might add that I just stumbled on the site a few days ago. Wish networking had been available before now. I can't believe the many treatments & medications available to help ease the pain. Until this Last cluster, I had been using the same medication since the original diagnosis (sansert). When I ran out of the pills, I would see a doctor and try to explain what I had and they would ask what I had been using before, and out came the prescription pad. Take advantage of what you learn while browsing this site.
Not sure if this anwsered your question, but in my case, age has seemed to help in this battle.
