Kira, I am a sufferer (almost 20 years now), and I agree with everything everyone has said here.
My wife and kids all know to leave me alone unless I ask for something, and then they respond. Couldn't make it without them.
Just hang in there kiddo, and tell your dad the same. He's lucky to have a kid who cares so much!
