I have worried about the same thing. The left side of my face droops after an episode and my eye looks like I have pinkeye. I've also noticed "numb" spots on my temple and upper forehead. But, I figure it's nerve irritation from the CH. I assume if I was going to have a stroke from CH, it would have happened LONG ago.
