I took the stuff last December and January for my seizures. It was terrific for the seizures BUT it did make me a little nervous. Nothing really strange (or at least I thought not. . .) but I didn't care for it nonetheless. It also gave me ringing in my ears; similar to when one takes about 18 aspirin in a day. Dr. said this affects about 15% of those who try it. I have no idea if that's useful but thought I'd add it to the mountain of info on Topamax on this board.
For those who take the stuff; give it a chance but let your MD know if it's bothering you. Stay well.- - -Charlie S
