I hope this new pain med will come about, however my experience with new drugs and Doctors has been less than great. It will be several years b4 we see any usfull commercial drug availabe to the general public. And just think, this stuff is xxx% stronger than the gold standard. From years of experiance I doubt that that kind of drug would ever be prescribed to the little people for a number of reasons, side effects will be large as with any med ( read the fine print on any drug in the market ) and with any pain med the old rebound argument comes in to play. It would be nice to tilt your head back, squirt a blast of this stuff up your nose and forget about your clusters for a while, but they always come back, now your a rain forest frog poision junkie, what will you tell the wife/husband?!
The doctors I see will have none of that!
