who once told me to bring a shotgun into the woods with me when I was going camping in Washington. I probably told this story before but.... I told him I've wanted to see a bear all my life and could never shoot one. He told me that was good news and that the shotgun would only annoy the grizzly and that it was to make sure I went quickly.
