My first CH attack was diagnosed as middle ear infection. I did not think that was it because I was not sick, but there was pain in my ear to a certain extent.
Even a minor scratch on my scalp hurts in the same area as CH. There must be many, many triggers and causes for head pain, but nothing is as all-encompassing and unrelenting as CH. We know that.
