this isn't rebound your expeirencing... (no i making fun
of MY bad spelling)... and imitrex only last so long. The 50 mg pills
do work well. I wouldn't necessary SWITCH neuro's... work with him. Call
him up and ask if you can do the oxygen tank thing... write me and i'll explain it
but anyone here pretty much knows how it works... it's my first choice since it
has no side affects... then alot of us go on verapamil the first week WITH using imitrex
pills (or shots...) till the verapamil lessons the effects. For me, I hated verapamil and
chose the steriod burst method...which your neuro will know about. Call him...it may
be the quicker route. As you get older, you get more experienced and kinda guide the newer
ones on survival..... I found this will be my last year with steriod bursts.... next year...something
else. Oh, i get them every two years around August. I so believe in the circadium rythem and Autumn Equinox.
Also.... ask him...ask him if you can try getting on anti-depressants like prozac or kolonpin.... i found as i
got older..and in the middle of the cylce... i became very very depressed and they put me on those drugs...which had
the most WONDEFUL side affect...they keep the clusters down soooo low... that i hardly feel them until i stop taking them.
ask alot of people here their opinions... you will get a different answer...some will agree with me and others will disagree
with me ...and that is fine... i take NO offense to any of it. I only know from my own
experiences as well. I landed in the hospital after three weeks of just imitrex shots thinking THEY were the only answer. If you
read all the paper work... 4 pills a month... is about the recommended amount... so it's only to hold you while getting your
ducks together... for me... .it's ordering oxygen tanks... getting other meds, like anti-depressants (most order their verapamil),
and we go on.... hang here and learn.... and everyne finds THEIR own way.

personally, two favorites i learned here this year... take a warm blow dryer (while sucking on my oxygen tank - such a sexy sight!)
and the warm air gets the blood. For others, cold packs... see ya...sonya.... by the way, this is only my way of survival... not everyones
choice... but Ueli was right about imitrex... it wears off... NOT rebounding.
