I am a 30 year old step mother of two from New Zealand and watch Oprahs show every day, if I know I am going to miss it I tape it. Thank you for the shows with Dr Phil and the advice about relationships. I have been happily married for 7 1/2 years and although it has had good and bad times, we have stuck together. We have my two stepdaughters aged 12 and 13 living with us now and it has been a challenge on our lifestyle and relationship, however we both feel we would not change a thing. Their step father was not nice to them and their Mum just didnt seem to care. They have changed, grown in a way that cant be described, and we are both so proud of them. I just want to say thank you for letting me see that there are others out there with real problems and teaching me that only I can help myself!!
I was a full time retail manager and gave it all up for the sake of my family, I miss the financial stability but nothing could replace the bond our family has created.
