I've been told that Topamax works better of the two, though I have not taken it yet. Side effects of Imitrex/Zomig can be awful. I 've been on Calan (& Indomethacin) for 6 days now. I have not had a monster in 2 days. Give it a chance my Doc says it takes a little while to build up in your system. Seems to be doing the trick so far. Hang in there.
