even though I hate the idea that this may distract from JohnB's post, he is the OUCH Membership Chairperson. John, know that my thoughts are with you as you enter the worst period of your battle with the Demon.
Earlier today, I posted a few comments on the narcotics discussion. One of those included a plea for people to join OUCH, so that we could perhaps muster enough force to drive the medical research toward dealing with our affliction.
Here's the text of one email I got in response to that call to arms:
