I had major cancer surgery a year ago and the doctors kept me on the Indocin (the surgeon, anesthesilolgist and I talked it over). Indocin thins your blood and can cause more than normal bleeding, they were ready to deal with that if need be. BUT I had NO problem with bleeding.

Verapimil can lower your bp so if it's low now they might be concerned during surgery your bp will drop too low?
My pulse dropped to 30 (normal for me is 100)a few times during surgery, they said, but other than that and trying to warm me back up I had no problem.

Good luck!
