Nancy, addiction is in the person not the medicine, I didn't mean to give you a wrong impression. In my case, all pain medicines(narcotics) is what I became addicted to, the list is long. For years, I blamed it on the headaches and the pain that we all know are associated with them, but I have an addictive personality and thus the problems began a long time ago. We are all human and sometimes become dependent on our meds to help make us better, but there's a difference between dependence and addiction. For me, it's a disease that'll always be with me, but that's ok, it's taught me who I am and how to actually live my life to the fullest. sometimes without the bad, we can't learn anything about the good. I deal with it the same way I deal with the cluster headaches, one day at a time. Sorry about the length, just wanted to try and explain. Take care, Sean.
