If the weather where you live has turned cold have him go for a walk outdoors. The cold air will help relieve the cluster headache. Your husband should try breathing just through his nose or if the weather where you live is not cold have him try sitting in front of an air conditioner and breathing in the cold air. The car A/C works great.
