You oldies all know my views, so a summary.

As Bob said this IS no such official condition as Cluster Migraines - simple as that.

If someone has both ch and migraine, why don't doctors say that. The two ARE different, and (more importantly) need different sets of medications. A doctor calling them CM shows that he is about to guess - again IMHO!

Using the phrase for ch sufferers causes two problems - people don't then understand the pain and we dilute the "Cause". (Imagine if MS had two or three different names - the general public would have even less chance of understanding)

However, we must make sure as several have said, that we don't shoot the messenger. If I had been told I had CM I would have believed it - after all at that point I believed doctors knew everything.

The best thing is for those so diagnosed to ask their doctors for documentation about this strange condition and wait (I suspect a considerable time) for them to produce it!
