and it isn't much but it helps some, Having to meet a rather high yearly deductable on the medicare sucks-I don't use Doctors much, but when I do it just astounds me at how little the medicare covers,
Giving in mentally and accepting your own limitations isn't an easy thing to do, I went through a 2 year period where I almost wouldn't leave the house and felt like a complete failure,
I shut down my own business (Successful) to avoid losing the faith of any of my customers. very hard decision, but essential for my health!
I am V.A. related so I get a disability pension from them also and between the two it just pays the bills, My wife earns the bread and butter for the extras, like food!
Within yourself lies the ability to accept this thing and fight to provide the emotional support for your family and friend or the excuse making mindset to become the failure you feel you are. Selfpity is a strong demon in and of itself and can be over powering if you allow it.
As ill as I am I still find the strength to help others, as well as myself. It would amaze you at how many people depend on Old Sailpappy to get them through their Crisises, Large and small!
It this factor that gets me through the very hard mental times, look outside yourself and your situation to the needs of those around you and you will find strength of heart and will to carry on. Sailpappy
