Brain,
You didn't say much about your symptoms, but you
might want to check into a syndrome called Sunct which stands for:Shortlasting Unilateral Neuralgiform headache attacks with conjunctival injection, tearing, and rhinorrhea. The frequency of attacks with this disorder varies immensely. During symptomiatic periods there may be only one attack daily intermixed with symptom free days, or more than 30 attacks per hour. The attacks start abruptly, reaching a maximum in a few seconds, remain at the same level of intensity for a minute or so and then cease, the decrescendo phase being as abrupt as the onset. The pain is mostly stabbing, burning or electrical in character. This disorder is very rare. I hope this help you find a direction to look. Hope you have a pain free day...MaryD
