I spent the day out on the water, Sailing with my good Friend Capt. Bob on his Hunter27, Crisp air and brisk wind (18-25 knots) kept us on our gunnels all day, I heeled her over to 35 degree's a few times and buried the gunnels in the water.
Many pods of dolphin swam with us in the choppy Gulf and to my amazement we were the only sailboat out all day.
With the wind at that speed from the Northwest the Gulf was full of 2-3ft chop and an occasional 4 to 5 footer would roll in as it built under the constant brisk wind.
With a full complament of sail up his boat sailed like a racing sloop and kept my adrenalin pumped up all day, I only had one attack the whole time we were out and with the cool spray it didn't last long.
I missed chatting with you all, but rather enjoyed the interlude with the dolphins and sea.
Was thinking of you all most of the time and wishing there was some way to capture this and send it through to you all! Pappy
