...I just got back from seeing a therapist about my depression.
I have found that I am 'blue' mostly after a cycle has ended.
In the past I have tried antidepressants but they only made me feel sick.
There is a book by Dr. David Burns that has helped me. It is called '
"The New Mood Therapy". This book deals with a drug-free approach to depression.
I am, however, to the point of wondering if I have a chemical imbalance.
Through the work of my counseler, I will find out. If that is the case, I will mix the meds with therapy.
Different things work for each individual.

Just because someone is cheery most of the time doesn't mean they aren't suffering from depression.
I am living proof of that.

hope i helped unpuddle you
