On sumatriptan -- I first started with tablets and they were effective in breaking the CH in about 30 minutes. I am now using the nasal spray and it is even better. If I catch the CH early enough, total relief comes within 15 minutes; if I let the CH go for a while, it may take 30 minutes to break it with sumatriptan. The only downside that I've noticed, and it is VERY minor, is the bad taste once the spray works its way into the throat - but I'll take that any day because of the quick, total relief it provides.
