And I must say I was quite surprised by the responses. Although I am usually optimistic and upbeat, I do have bouts of depression- most often during a cycle. I am episodic, on a 2yr collision course with hell. I always think I'm just throwing a major pity-party after 3 or 4 weeks of being head-throbbing, drugged out, bloated and swollen, sleep-deprived, and knowing I have a few more weeks to go. And the hideous woman in the mirror always tells me I should be able to snap out of it, I'm just feeling sorry for myself. It'll be over in a month or so. Aren't we having fun yet??? But then I think of you chronics and surely mine can't be nearly as bad as yours, and my heart breaks for each and every one of you. So give me a few days to think about what I DO have that's good, and the bad things I DON'T have, and that helps to put things back in perspective. Hmmm, did any of that make sense or did it come across as gibberish?
