I too enjoy the odd wee dram. Everyone has different triggers. Alcohol is NOT a trigger for me. The ingredients in beer and red wine are, but not the ingredients in Canadian whiskey. Very little is known about our malady. The consequence is that things are generalized. Alcohol is a trigger!!, they say. Then why not all the time, in any form? I am episodic in remission for two years.
