HI! I am looking for some advice, I posted a while back but was unable to access and thought I'd try again. For two or three weeks now I have been experiencing pain in the back third of my head. About three or four inches above my ear on the left side, stabbing, throbbing pain which can last for hours at then disappear for days. It began on the left, faded and came on the right, then back to the left again and just now it's there. I had no pain for about a week there then suddenly last night it just came on again. Is this a symptom of a cluster headache or have I anything else to worry about. Around six weeks back I suddenly experienced pain right in the back of my neck which throbbed considerably for ages then faded. It returned a week later then faded again, to be replaced with the above. Nothing else wrong with me, feel fine otherwise. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated, especially if it can put my mind at rest. I can sleep okay but I know it's there when I wake again. Having read through the experiences of others I can appreciate what frustration things like this causes, I'd just love to know what is going on and what I can do about it.

Cheers

Ricky
