I'm in BC. The benifits kicked in after I had spent about $2000 on drugs. After I had spend $800 the price dropped to about %30 of the initial cost. I had never heard of reaching a limit where everything becomes free, but here it is. I don't know how BC and Alberta's health plans differ, but I suggest you look into it. Free Imitrex is an amazing thing. I no longer have to worry about the cost every time I inject myeslf.
