I have been on a low dose of topomax (15-25 mg 2x a day) for about two months now. I have been virtually headache free. Prior to topomax, I used depacote with about 85 % effectiveness, however I developed a hand tremor which Dr. thought might be caused by same - thus the switch to topomax. My dilemna is this: I have been running a sinus infection concurrent with my taking the topomax. I've been very dizzy and weak. Just don't feel right. After two months of three antibiotics and steroids, I don't feel any better, and am now wondering if it's not my sinuses, as much as an adverse reaction to the topomax. Has anyone else had a reaction like this? I feel like my head is on another planet-no pain- just really dizzy and off balance!
