Here are a few ideas. First, as I recall, the wife of one of the OUCH officers works for a big insurance company and perhaps could be imposed upon to remind us again of the proper approach for lobbying ins. cos.

BC/BS Florida recently notified its' members that certain drugs formerly left to the discretion of physcians are now limited. As always, they are using the "recommended dosage" bull because they don't want to admit it's a financial thing. Imitrex and Amerge are both limited. 2 kits or 9 tabs per month for Imitrex, for example.

I really don't care if the ins. cos. classify CH as a "migraine variant". I do care that they provide appropriate quantities of the meds we need. This should be, IMHO, the target of any efforts OUCH or individuals decide to take.
