To say that users of LSD run the risk of permanent trips or death is just plain wrong. LSD is one of the least toxic substances known to man. There are NO recorded isnstances of a "permanent" trip anywhere in the literature. The only verified deaths attributed to LSD involve swimming accidents while under the influence of LSD. I challenge you to provide ONE link that documents either a "permanent trip" or an LSD-related death.

This kind of misinformation is dangerous.

It is true that I prefer to try psilocybin first, for a whole bunch of reasons... and all of my recommendations to others on the board are geared towards the psilocybin approach.

BUT...

There have been at least three people who have posted here who have had outstanding success with low doses of LSD... Flash, Kenn, and Q. Albert Hoffman was trying to synthesize a more effective migraine medication when he discovered LSD. He succeeded. There is research documentation to support that, and anecdotal evidence on this very board that it works on CH, too.

On the other hand, if you grow your own mushrooms, you KNOW that you are getting psilocybin. If you buy LSD from an unknown source, you will PROBABLY get LSD, but not necessarily. Even then, I would be more concerned with the efficacy than with anything else.

Back up your absurd claims or stop posting here, "anonymous". Your support of the psilocybin therapy does not excuse your attempts to discredit another proven therapy.
