Many of the denizens of this site have both migraines and clusters. No one here gives them a hard time about it. We share with them everything we can about clusters, but we presume that when they have questions about migraines, they post at a migraine-oriented site.

Why should we pretend to be able to give advice to migraineurs? Hell, we can't even agree on what advice to give each other, half the time.

I agree with you that some of our brethren (and cistern) tend to over-react if someone accidently uses the term "cluster-migraine". I apologize on their behalf. These people are probably not aware that even some DOCTORS still use that term when referring to cluster headaches, either out of sloppiness or in the mistaken belief that it will somehow make it easier for us poor dumb clusterheads to understand why our heads hurt. Doctors are not infallible, sadly.
