hey Bob, I do enjoy your 'loose canon' comments. You always have a neat way of expressing yourself. That said....I do agree with some of your chiropractic remedies. In the past I have used them with some relief and a lot of expence. My D.O. in the past would adjust my back,(Ihave switched to an Internal Medicine M.D,) My insurance at the time covered both the chiropractor and the massage therapist. HMO does not. I have to add that while adjustments are very helpful, you need the massage after to release the muscles that were just desturbed. Now that I have neither chiropractor, or DO, my husband has become my nightly masseuse. He will wake up with me during an attack and kneed my head while I rock and press against his hands as hard as I can. He usually focuses on the back of my neck, base of my skull and on top of my head. I found the pain gets worse if he touches my temple or jaw. Just as an aside...I had been worked up for MS last year(for the 3rd time) AAAARGH! The MRI showed a bulge at C-5 in my neck. The doc said that is not uncommon for a nurse. Why??? Could this be related? Or is it too far down, ie, not c-1 or c-2-3? Any thoughts?
