Randall, I've been doing this clusterhead thing for about 9 years. Over the years I've done all the neuro things, drugs and O2. I've been told to come off ALL drugs all together.. Those drugs at the time were Stadol nasal spray, and midrin. I KNOW that although I refused to believe the doc at the time, I was rebounding up to 6-8 times a day. I stopped the meds and only got 2-3 a day. It was hard but in the long run the pain was less frequent and easier to deal with. This cycle I tried something different. I did not use Oxygen(I rebounded with that too..6-8 a day) I'm taking 300mg neurontin 2x a day. and 80mg Verapamil 3x a day. At first I didn't think it would work but it took some time. The attacks are now 1-3 in 24 hrs. Sometimes the Neurontin makes me feel weird, but I'm getting used to it. I should be ending in the next week of so... they are slowing to 1-2 aday in the last 2 days and I'm able to sleep through the last 2 nights. Imitrex nasal spray takes me thru the pain of the actual attack. Sorry I babbled but I have experienced the rebound I know it is real... Good luck and God Bless

JEn
