you are varapamil will take time to build up in his system. The imitrex will help when he has a cluster coming on. Another good thing the neurologist should have give your husband is Oxygen. A presciption for Oxygen will also help when a cluster is come on. My Dr. has me on Neurontin and all I'm experiencing is shadows no real pain. Its just the feeling of a cluster but not happening.
