I had a 2 day rebound from an overindulgence of Imitrex - the tablets started to decreasein effect, so instead of 1 I took 2 - well, it ones good, two's better - WRONG. I thought I was going to die. The headache was a whole different ballgame to a cluster - all over my head, so intense I had to see my doctor, absolutely no relief at all with anything I tried. Lasted a little over two days, couldn't sit up or lie down, paced around a lot. Ended up in tears (again). However, there was an upside, my doctor was so concerned he sent me to the neuro as an emergency - got started on Verapamil and have been OKish since. So take my advice, keep to the stated does. Hope you never get a rebound. Go with care, maggie
