I lived in Northern Minnesota till I was 8. Still have some of the accent even. My big brother dared me to stick my tongue to a steel post. Of course I did it. I'll never forget pulling my tongue off that post. To this day I cringe at the feeling of ice-cubes stuck to my fingers because of it.
