I was at 480 mg. I had been at that level for several months. Due to side effects and surgery I needed to lower my dose. My dr. lowered me from 480mg (240mg am and 240mg pm) to 240 mg a day (120mg am and 120mg pm). I was at that dose for one month. The side effects did not subside so I went completely off the medicine at that time. Hope this helps.
