Almost always, a cycle starts for me 10-14 days after a drastic change in sleep. For example....after a year of remission, I had a lock-in with my kids from church on New Years. 11 days later, a cycle started that lasted 6 weeks.

I have a history of head trauma - a subdural hemotoma as a baby. I have a considerable amount of scar tissue, and a dilated pupil as a result. Clusters seem to have no direct correlation with the head trauma I have had, although I do have alot of other headaches that are probably associated.
