Have you gone through your life thus far free and devoid of vicious, sick assholes, jerks, idiots, fools and general scum? Surely not, so why would things be so different here.
Anyone in the wide world can wander into CH.com and say anything they want, but what amazes and astounds me day after day is the incredibly high standard and quality of compassion, support, and medical knowledge that appears here day after day, for the past three or so years.
I'm in no position to offer advice to anyone, but sometimes it might be a good idea to just let the crap ride.
Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I'm constantly surprised and impressed at how little acrimony there is here. Or again, perhaps I'm just not aware of some undercurrents. In any event, I'm about as far removed from Pollyanna as one can get.
And you will love being in Atlanta with us, believe me!
