I am just an old clusterhead but it is my understanding that clusters are not linked by heredity. Unlike the migraine which is. There may be some examples of clusters being passed on by heredity but that is the exception, not the rule.
There is an information page on this site that could probably answer your questions about clusters. I think I'll check it out myself.
