Coffee has caffine which is a vasoconstrictor. Cold air is denser than temperate air so it carries more oxygen per given volumne. Oxygen is a vasoconstrictor. They don't numb the pain. They treat the cause of the pain.

My point is don't try to treat the pain, treat the cause of the pain.

I've used fiorinal, darvocette and vicoden for my CH. After one or two tries with each, they wound up in the trash. My belief is that if you're trying to treat the pain rather than treating the headache, you're on the road to nowhere.
