I'm wondering about the same thing. Morning before last the ER intake nurse asked if Lee had ever been diagnosed with sleep apnea. She said the same thing--that 80% of cluster headache patients have sleep apnea. Lee's pulmonary MD does a lot of work with sleep studies, etc. so we're going to ask him about that this week...will let you know if we find out anything. Lee has had good success with Imitrex (pills), but only if he takes them at the very beginning of the headache--not effective when he wakes up with a full-blown one! I've also heard of the feverfew for headaches, but he's never tried it.
