I've read that if a parent had migraine OR cluster,
the child is predisposed to have one or the other.
In our family, my grandmother apparently had migraines,
her daughter, my mother, had migraines, I have
cluster, my brother had migraines, and two of my
grandmother's other granddaughters have migraines.
I'd say that definitely points to a hereditary
component.
